At Daniel William Diamonds, every piece we sell is held to strict standards of quality. Each item is crafted from the finest materials and carefully inspected before it ships. We stand behind our work, and we build jewelry that is meant to last a lifetime. That's why every jewelry piece we sell is warranted to be free from manufacturing defects.

What's Covered

If you believe your item has a manufacturing defect, contact us to arrange an inspection.

• If our jewelers confirm a manufacturing defect, we will repair your item at no cost to you.
• If the damage is the result of normal wear and tear rather than a manufacturing defect, we will provide a repair quote for your approval. No work is ever performed on your item without your authorization.

What's Not Covered

Like all jewelry warranties, ours does not cover:

• Normal wear and tear, including scratches, dents, worn or bent prongs, and discoloration from exposure to chemicals or daily wear
• Loss or theft of your item or its stones (complimentary replacement of accent diamonds under 0.05 carats is available — see Complimentary Cleaning & Maintenance below)
• Damage caused by accident, misuse, or improper care
• Because no warranty covers loss, theft, or accidental damage, we strongly recommend insuring your jewelry. Visit our Insurance page to learn more.

Repairs by Other Jewelers Will Void Your Warranty

Any repair, resizing, alteration, or modification performed by anyone other than Daniel William Diamonds voids this lifetime warranty in its entirety.

Complimentary Ring Resizing

We are happy to offer one free ring resizing within the first 90 days of purchase.

• Rings can be resized up to two sizes larger or two sizes smaller than the original size.
• Eternity bands cannot be resized because the stones are set all the way around the band. If a new size is needed, a new ring must be produced at additional cost.
• Please contact us to arrange your resize. The customer is responsible for shipping the ring to us.
• Resizing outside of the 90 days comes at an additional charge. Price varies depending on the gold or platinum price at the time.

Complimentary Cleaning & Maintenance

Regular cleaning and maintenance keep your jewelry beautiful and secure for years to come. We offer the following services free of charge twice a year:

• Professional cleaning
• Re-polishing and rhodium re-plating
• Prong inspection and tightening
• Accent diamond replacement for stones under 0.05 carats

Shipping for Warranty & Service Work

Shipping costs for warranty inspections, repairs, resizing, and maintenance services are the responsibility of the customer. We recommend always using a trackable, fully insured shipping method.
